Position Overview

Inversion is hiring an Investment Associate to lead diligence across Inversion’s portfolio of target acquisitions and participate in acquisition decisions, transaction proceedings, and post‑acquisition managerial coordination alongside Inversion’s CIO and executive team.

The Investment Associate will be the first line of defense covering financial and strategic due diligence across an array of private companies, concentrated in telecommunications and finance sectors in Latin America.

This individual will be a central pillar of the Investment Team at Inversion, reporting directly to the CEO and CIO. The CIO is responsible for leading the execution of private equity transactions, and serves as the senior point of contact for portfolio company management teams post‑acquisition.

The Investment Team works closely with the CEO, COO, and Investment Committee to execute Inversion's blockchain “rip‑and‑replace” strategy across portfolio companies, ensuring that each company’s transition to blockchain infrastructure is executed flawlessly to unlock maximum value.

This role is ideal for an experienced investment analyst or associate with 2‑4 years of total experience on the buy and sell side. If you have high agency, curiosity, attention to detail, and a high standard of excellence, please apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute financial due diligence for proprietary and sourced investment opportunities in telecommunications and financial services markets, with a focus on Latin America.
  • Conduct strategic analysis of target companies, including market sizing, competitive landscape assessments, and growth opportunity evaluations.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models (LBO, DCF, operating forecasts) to support valuation, deal structuring, and investment committee presentations.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of the diligence process: prepare diligence requests, interface with target management teams, and synthesize findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with external advisors (legal, accounting, technical) and internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive vetting of operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
  • Partner with Inversion’s CIO and executive team to develop transaction memos and present key findings to the Investment Committee.
  • Support negotiation of transaction terms and documentation, including coordination of data room, term sheet analysis, and closing deliverables.
  • Assist in post‑acquisition integration planning, working with portfolio company leadership to implement Inversion’s blockchain “rip‑and‑replace” strategy—identifying synergies, cost‑optimization initiatives, and roadmap milestones.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance post‑close: track key operating metrics, help diagnose underperformance, and recommend corrective actions or growth initiatives.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management and investors on deal pipeline, portfolio performance, and market trends in relevant sectors.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
  • 2–4 years of private equity, investment banking, or management…
