Job Overview – Operations Analyst/Associate

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000/year + bonus
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring an Operations Analyst/Associate in New York, NY for our client, a hybrid role supporting middle office operations, trade support, reconciliations, and settlement workflows across the firm. Reporting to the COO, you will partner with operations, accounting, and deal teams to ensure accurate trade processing, position reporting, and operational efficiency while contributing to key financial and strategic initiatives.

• Trade Management: Validate and track trades, coordinating with operations and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely settlement.
• Reconciliation: Perform daily cash and position reconciliations between internal systems and custodian banks to maintain data accuracy.
• Position & Reporting Support: Partner with controllers to ensure proper position booking and support accurate investor reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Treasury Operations: Assist with cash management activities, including monitoring liquidity, supporting credit facilities, and managing treasury workflows.
• Projects & Enhancements: Support new business initiatives, special projects, system improvements, and audit-related requests.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
• Experience: 1-4 years of middle office, operations, or trade support experience within a bank or private credit business, with expertise in settlements, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

  Advanced Excel skills, familiarity with Python or SQL, and experience with portfolio management and treasury platforms preferred.
