The anticipated salary range for this role is between $ and $. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst at the VP level with 10+ years of experience in the investment banking domain. The ideal candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in middle office and back office operations (e.g. confirmation, matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement) processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep domain expertise, and the ability to bridge business and technology teams to deliver strategic solutions.
Experience with vendor platforms such as Murex, Ion, FIS or Calypso is a plus but not mandatory. Experience with SWIFT, FIXML, and industry standard vendors in MO/BO space.
- Engage with operations and business stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate complex business processes into clear specifications for technology teams.
- Act as SME for middle and back office workflows: trade confirmation, matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement.
- Provide guidance on industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, efficient solutions.
- Validate functional designs and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business, operations, and technology teams.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
- Define test cases and support UAT for critical workflows.
- Ensure solutions meet operational and compliance standards.
- Work with third‑party vendors (e.g., Murex, Calypso) for system enhancements and integrations.
- 10+ years as a Business Analyst in investment banking or financial services.
- Strong exposure to middle and back office processes and systems.
- Expertise in trade lifecycle, confirmation, matching, reconciliation, clearing, and settlement.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in capital markets.
- Ability to work with data models, SQL for analysis, and understand system integrations.
- Knowledge of vendor platforms (Murex, Calypso) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
