Tax Manager Non-Profit

Responsibilities

• Manage tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to health‑care institutions, higher education institutions, private foundations, and exempt organizations
• Assist in managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff
• Help develop, build, and manage client relationships
• Participate and actively grow the practice through external marketing and business‑development activities
• Provide timely and outstanding client service exceeding client expectations

• Experience in public accounting focusing on health‑care, higher education, and exempt organization tax
• Senior: 3+ years
• Senior – not required
• In‑depth experience in managing the preparation of Form 990, Form 990‑T, and Form 990‑PF
• Experience with excess benefit transactions, private inurement, unrelated business income tax, alternative investment reporting (federal, foreign, state), Affordable Care Act issues (501(r)), and other issues specific to exempt organizations
• Experience managing multiple client engagements
