As a Branch Ambassador, you’ll use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers’ banking experience. You’ll perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures. Equally important is the ability to resolve customer inquiries quickly and efficiently, delivering an extraordinary customer experience.

Our rapidly changing tech and financial environment requires Ambassadors who are adaptable, growth‑oriented and customer‑experience‑obsessed.

What We’re Looking For in You
  • You’re friendly, engaging, and can connect with customers whether you’re helping folks with technology challenges, having casual conversation, or simply showcasing cool services and products.
  • You reduce customer financial anxiety by helping determine personal and business financial needs, and you pull in experts who guide customers to their financial destination.
  • You understand compliance in banking and ensure all audit and security policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
  • You support customers in all areas of the branch, from cash handling to rotating throughout the branch based on customer needs.
  • You help improve the overall retail customer experience by reducing handoffs; every Ambassador is equally an “expert.”
  • You’re naturally curious and eager to learn, and you’ll learn what Capital One offers our customers in products, services and experiences to guide them toward their financial goals.
  • You’re digitally savvy, showcasing what’s possible in our physical space and how to navigate our mobile and online experience using the branch’s laptops and iPads. You take an active role in educating customers on other banking channels.
  • You’re a team player and work with an energized team of banking professionals, inspiring and being inspired in return.
  • You research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement by leveraging tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions.
  • You travel between branches in the assigned local area and support the market you’re assigned to.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
  • At least 1 year of retail, sales or customer service experience.
  • At least 6 months of cash handling experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree.
  • 2+ years of retail, sales or banking experience.

Mattituck, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Riverhead, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Shirley, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Speonk, NY: $51,542 – $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
