Cost Accountant (Long-term job in CT w/ initial 6-12 month project in PA) – Stamford, CT with a 6–12 month project in Pittsburgh, PA. Salary range: $90,000.00–$ per year plus housing, per diem for meals, project bonus, and other incentives. This is a long-term opportunity with a potential transition to strategic financial planning and analysis after the project completion.

• Analyze part-level costing and set standards in a manufacturing setting
• Assess and improve the current costing structure and processes
• Perform time and process analysis to ensure accurate cost standards
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead rates; update as needed
• Partner with engineering and operations to maintain accurate BOMs and routings
• Monitor and report on manufacturing variances and provide recommendations
• Prepare cost analysis reports for management and strategic planning
• Identify and recommend cost-saving initiatives to improve margins and efficiency
• Collaborate with finance leadership on budgeting and margin analysis

• 2+ years of cost accounting experience
• Knowledge of inventory or costing systems
• Advanced Excel skills, including formatting, formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP) & pivot tables
• Ability to spend 6–12 months in Pittsburgh, PA, for a costing project

• Location: Stamford, CT (with a 6–12 month project in Pittsburgh, PA)
