Our client is a multistrategy hedge fund with a fmaily like culture that is growing and provides stability. They are looking for a smart operations canddiate from a bank, fund admin or hedge fund who can grow into a bigget role. Flat structure and very roll up your sleeves. Canddiates must know hedge fund operations and products.

Role
-Our client is seeking an analyst in support portfolio operations. The role will focus on such functions as trade settlements, trade allocations, securities originations and reconciliations to our Prime Brokers. The position will have exposure to globally traded securities, spanning multiple financial markets

Key Accountabilities of the Role

• Ensure accurate booking of all trade and non-trade related activities daily at our client's Prime Brokerage and ISDA counterparts, Lindens internal shadow books and records and our official books and records held by our Administrator. These activities include daily trades, securities settlement, position and cash transfers, corporate actions, dividends, interest postings, paydowns and financing. Activities are across various asset classes.
• Processing of daily trades from trade blotter to internal records, counterparts, and administrator to ensuring accurate and timely booking.
• Processing of daily pricing internally to our client's Accounting system and ensuring accurate and timely distribution of our client’s End of Day Profit and Loss summaries.
• Review daily Prime Broker cash and position reconciliations, identifying and resolving actionable items.
• Review of collateral shortfalls or excesses at ISDA counter parties.
• Confirming and settling OTC related settlements and activities.
• Reviewing security set ups for proper interest and financing accruals.
• Maintain working relationships with 10 Prime brokers and 25 OTC counterparts to facilitate the efficient processing and resolution of trade and non trade related inquiries.
• Work with potential new counterparts on new account setups, trade files and other distributions of information across necessary parties at both the administrator and internally.
• Communicate regularly with our client's teams on requests for information, such as front office traders, compliance, risk, accounting and investors relations.

Prerequisite knowledge, skills and experience

• 5 years of experience in Hedge Fund Operations, including trade processing and settlements for listed and OTC securities and derivatives.
• Knowledge of various security types and how they function, including, Equities, Bonds, Convertible Bonds, Various types of Swaps, Forwards, Options, Warrants, Units and SPAC.
