Fund Accountant — Real Estate

• Support Controllers and Assistant Controllers by handling a range of accounting functions for numerous investment properties and corporate management entities, leveraging Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Excel.
• Generate financial reports, including tax-focused and fair-value statements (such as Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements).
• Maintain detailed accounting work papers to substantiate financial reporting.
• Calculate and post journal entries for revenue and expense accruals, as well as amortization of prepaid expenses and income.
• Update and manage journal entry and accounts payable templates for Yardi Voyager uploads.
• Compile monthly and quarterly operating reports summarizing asset performance.
• Prepare and/or review annual Operating Expense Reconciliations for various properties.
• Partner with asset and property management teams on internal and client reporting, including annual budget preparation.
• Provide support to external auditors during audits and in the completion of tax filings.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Excellent organizational and systems skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid experience with Yardi Voyager
