Chief Financial Officer

A well-established nonprofit healthcare organization is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership and operational oversight. The organization delivers a wide range of health and social services, including behavioral health care, substance abuse treatment, housing programs, and community outreach initiatives.

$/yr - $/yr

Responsibilities

• Direct all accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end closes, and cash flow management.

• Manage investments, banking relationships, and cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity.

• Oversee financial modeling, forecasting, and development of dashboards to support strategic decisions.

• Lead the annual audit process and coordinate all tax filings and external auditor relationships.

• Oversee all billing and reimbursement functions across Medicaid, Medicare, and private payers.

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in financial management.

• Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or human services environments is preferred.

• Strong understanding of government funding systems.

• Proven track record managing audits, budgets, and financial systems.

• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial software systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA preferred.
