Senior Manager Credit Operations

Job Overview

Looking for: 10-20 years of equity trading operations experience buy or sell side

• Support Credit & Securitized Products Desks
  • Work directly with PMs and Traders covering CLOs, CMBS/RMBS, ABS, leveraged loans, corporate bonds, and credit derivatives (CDS/CDX, TRS, options, futures)
  • Ensure accurate trade capture, affirmation, and settlement across all instruments.
• Perform Mandatory Daily Middle-Office Functions
  • Security Setup: Create and review new security master data for CLO tranches, ABS/MBS pools, credit indices, loan facilities, etc. for use in downstream systems.
  • Trade Capture & Processing: Timely booking of all new trades, lifecycle events, price updates, resets, restructurings, and cancellations.
  • Trade Validation & Fails Management: Monitor settlement status, resolve exceptions with brokers and custodians, minimize operational risk.
  • Reconciliations:
    • Positions, cash, and accruals across administrators, custodians, PBs, and internal systems
    • Validate coupon and principal flows for structured products and loan assets
  • P&L & Risk Support: Assist with daily/monthly P&L calculations, pricing checks, data integrity across PMS and risk platforms.
  • Manage all product-specific lifecycle events: MBS/ABS: paydowns, prepayments, pool factors, remittance reports;
    Loans: interest resets, amortizations, rollovers, CUSIP/facility updates;
    Coordinate with trustees, agents, counter parties, and administrators.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  • Partner with Technology and PMS teams to automate reconciliations, trade processes, and reporting.
  • Support enhancements to data pipelines for securitized products.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from investment teams, including exposure reporting, funding analysis, prepare analytics related to trading activity, lifecycle impacts, P&L drivers, and cash projections.
