Job OverviewA law firm seeks a US Derivatives and Financial Markets Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience in executing derivatives, structured finance, securitization, and other complex finance or capital markets transactions. They should possess a strong understanding of the U.S. regulatory landscape for derivatives.
Duties- Execute derivatives and structured finance transactions.
- Work with ISDA and repo documentation.
- Handle a range of asset classes including rates, FX, credit, and equity derivatives.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Manage a fast-paced and varied workload.
- Experience with derivatives and financial markets transactions.
- Understanding of CFTC and SEC regulations.
- Strong communication and client management skills.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
- JD or L.L.M required.
- Admission to the New York State Bar preferred.
- Proficiency in ISDA and repo documentation.
- Knowledge of various asset classes.
