Overview

A leading global financial institution is seeking an experienced AVP / VP, Enterprise Risk professional to join its Project Management Office (PMO) within the Enterprise Risk function. This highly visible role combines project governance oversight with risk management responsibilities, including model risk management and control framework enhancements. The position offers the opportunity to work across departments, partner with senior stakeholders, and directly contribute to the firm’s risk strategy, governance, and regulatory alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of PMO policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Oversee project management framework implementation to ensure alignment with regulatory expectations.
• Manage project timelines, documentation, and risk escalation while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and risk assessments for enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Contribute to the firm’s model risk management framework, including model inventory oversight, reviews, and attestations.
• Perform or support independent model validations and prepare validation reports.
• Partner with model developers, users, and senior management on remediation of validation findings.
• Support the design, execution, and enhancement of the End User Computing (EUC) control framework.
• Provide updates and reporting to management on project progress, risks, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior team members and foster collaborative relationships across business lines.
