The role involves delivering world-class strategic finance advice and fundraising consulting to founders of consumer & retail startups as part of the CFO Services team. You will help clients solve critical financial and business strategy challenges and work with high-growth startup clients across industries and stages.

• Partner with Senior Managers or Managers to help clients: bring analytical techniques and financial modeling to develop financial models, budgets, and forecasts; develop models to track KPIs, analyze channel and SKU sales performance, enhance product margins, and forecast inventory & demand planning; be a trusted advisor on financial and business decisions; deliver measurable improvements in financial and business KPIs; maintain budgets and rolling forecasts with variance reporting and monitoring;
  
  support investor discussions and board meetings by analyzing KPIs; support fundraising with investor decks and mock pitches/term sheet comparisons.
• Track and evaluate key Consumer & Retail CFO Services initiatives including new experiments, offerings, and promotional campaigns
• Run ad-hoc analyses to uncover growth opportunities, cost efficiencies, or ways to scale the Consumer & Retail CFO Services offering

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, management consulting, and/or strategic finance at a high-growth e-commerce/CPG company
• Technical expertise in accounting or finance for consumer & retail companies
• Advanced Excel modeling skills with the ability to own complicated models end-to-end
• Highly analytical with the ability to process large amounts of unstructured information
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans
• High attention to detail
• Highly entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
• Strategic thinker with the ability to independently carry out rigorous problem-solving
• Strong interest and passion for the Consumer & Retail industry
• This position is available for remote employment in the United States in the states: CA, GA, NY, NC, TN, TX, and WA

The base pay range for this role is $91,000 - $155,000 in most remote locations, or $114,000 - $155,000 in San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY. Final offer amounts depend on experience, location, and market data. Eligible for equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other benefits; some may be available for part-time roles.
