Temp Billing and Collections Support
Hybrid Role – 3 days on site in NYC (Mon‑Fri) 40 hours per week.
Role OverviewWe’re looking for a Temporary Billing and Collections Support Associate who is highly detail‑oriented and proactive. This role provides direct assistance to the finance operations team, focusing on tasks such as vendor portal setup, invoice verification, and data management. The successful candidate will be comfortable balancing independent work with regular collaboration across departments to maintain accuracy and ensure timely processing.
Primary Responsibilities- Partner with the Billing and Collections teams to help with routine operational tasks and projects.
- Independently establish and maintain client or vendor accounts within online portals to streamline invoicing processes.
- Enter, reconcile, and analyze data within internal financial systems and reports.
- Review posted invoices for accuracy, verify delivery, and ensure that documentation is complete and properly filed.
- Monitor pending items and coordinate follow‑ups with internal stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
- Hands‑on experience using vendor or client portals for billing, invoicing, or procurement workflows.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross‑team coordination.
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Prior experience in large‑scale or international business settings, preferably involving complex vendor or client structures.
