Operations is a dynamic, multi‑faced division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. Operations also delivers essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm’s assets and reputation.
YOUR IMPACTCorporate Treasury Operations is a sub‑division of Corporate Treasury. The primary objectives are to mitigate payment risk through active monitoring of daily transactions, enforcement of payment policies, and engagement with industry bodies. The policy enforcement team partners with thousands of payment users within the firm to review and minimize bespoke processes, validate and report on the payment landscape, implement data dashboards for oversight risk, and perform quality‑assurance reviews.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with business units to ensure best practices in the payments space using detailed knowledge of policy and procedure, advising on best methods for payment creation and validation.
- Assist in uplifting procedures to support the GS business model, improving client service while ensuring the highest standards of control.
- Work with the global team to design the target operating model and write the requirements for technology enhancements.
- Use innovation and BI to develop new tools that streamline processes and mitigate risk to improve quality and client service.
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of one year (Analyst) and three years (Associate) of full‑time Operations work experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective problem‑solving ability.
- Ability to ensure controls are in place and procedures are followed.
- Proven analytical skills and a control mentality.
- Experience managing day‑to‑day payment risk.
- Knowledge of international payments and/or experience in international payment systems.
- Ability to interpret and write policy requirements and implement governance oversight.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITSBase salary: $80,000–$135,000. Eligible for discretionary bonus if active employee as of fiscal year‑end. Benefits include competitive wellness offerings, personal finance resources, and more.
