Associate, P2, Product Support and Services

We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Wealth Management Operations to provide support to high profile Financial Advisors and their support staff regarding Alternative Investment transactions, including subscriptions, transfers, redemptions, and document revisions/amendments.

The Operations division partners with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls, and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position within Alternative Investments Operations, which is responsible for providing Financial Advisor and branch support via Phone and Case Inquiries.

What you’ll do in the role
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships to deliver world‑class client service by handling inquiries via phone and managing cases from financial advisors and branch employees concerning Alternative Investments products, ensuring all responses are accurate and timely.
  • Adhere to established procedures by efficiently routing processing requests to the designated teams and escalating inquiries for further research when necessary to ensure comprehensive solutions.
  • Consistently achieve team and departmental service goals as set forth by management, actively contributing to the organization’s ongoing success and client satisfaction.
  • Recognize risk in day‑to‑day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.
What you’ll bring to the role
  • Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non‑standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision.
  • Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests.
  • Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm’s core values.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience in the customer service space and/or familiarity with the financial industry.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be $65,000.00–$ per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long‑term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
