Private Equity Fund Accountant - PE Firm; AUM

Atlantic Group is representing another firm for this position. Please note that the company name and additional details will be provided once you are selected and contacted.

You will have the opportunity to help a global financial services firm. With multiple locations, you will be working out of their NYC office (currently hybrid).

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of fund accounting OR audit (top 10 accounting firm) experience.

• Assist with the preparation of the fund financials
• Be a key member helping out with the month, quarter, and year-end close process
• Help with capital calls, distributions, and reconciliations
• Be a resource for audit inquiries and assist the fund admin
• Analyze high risk accounts on the balance sheet and income statement to recommend any better methods
• Have an analytical mindset and help out with process improvement initiatives
• Respond to investor requests and special projects as they arise

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business from top tier school
• 2 – 5 years of relevant experience in the accounting, finance, or commercial real‑estate fields
