Tax Manager – State Tax

Base Pay Range: $102,000 – $140,000 per year.

• Monitor appropriate federal, state and local tax regulations and obligations.
• Prepare appropriate tax forms and instruments for filing with federal, state and local jurisdictions.
• Work with business units to keep them informed about tax implications of their operations.
• Help junior staff learn the appropriate regulations, filing procedures and internal communication needs.

• University degree preferred.

• 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred.

• Sedentary work.

• 5+ years tax experience in a corporate and/or public accounting setting.

• 7+ years of experience in direct and indirect state tax.
• CPA certification or similar advanced professional designation.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax matters clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail and meeting critical deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with demonstrated success working across functions and building strong working relationships.
