Smyth They are ideally seeking to hire an ambitious professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance and Accounting to develop and establish the Treasury function across their Alternative Investment platform. Working closely alongside the Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties that will contribute to the building out of a centralised Treasury team.
** Responsibilities:
*** Responsible for the development, implementation and management of Treasury related systems, policies and operations.
* Liquidity management/forecasting and investment of cash portfolios.
* Analyse and execute hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks related to foreign exchange and interest rate markets.
* Negotiate and execute funding programs including credit facilities, subscription lines, NAV/asset-backed facilities.)
* Ongoing compliance of credit facilities.
* Develop and maintain bank relationships across multiple coverage segments including corporate banking, foreign exchange, financial sponsors, interest rate desks and fund finance/asset-backed lending.
* Advise Finance and Operations teams on Treasury specific items.
** Requirements:
*** 8-12 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting and/or FP&A
* Relevant experience within the asset/investment management industry
* Proven experience in credit facility negotiation (ideal)
* Proficiency with Bloomberg terminals, Treasury Management Systems (TMS), and bank platforms
* Solid understanding of monetary markets, foreign exchange, interest rate markets, hedging strategies etc.
** Benefits:
*** Base salary between $170,000 and $190,000
