Position Summary

As a Senior Managing Director, you will run the New York City office, mentor a team, and drive revenue growth by originating and closing commercial real estate debt and equity financing transactions across multiple asset classes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Originate, structure, and close debt and equity transactions across a range of commercial real estate asset types (multifamily, office, hospitality, retail, industrial, mixed‑use).
  • Develop and manage client relationships with sponsors, developers, and institutional or private capital sources.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of capital sources.
  • Lead the full transaction lifecycle: origination to closing, negotiation, structuring, documentation oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party advisors for seamless execution.
  • Build a distribution network of intermediaries and strategic partners.
  • Oversee underwriting, financial modeling, due diligence, and preparation of memoranda and offering materials.
  • Represent Concord Summit Capital at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
  • Monitor market trends, capital market conditions, and emerging investment opportunities.
  • Mentor and provide leadership to junior professionals.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in commercial real estate capital markets, structured finance, or investment banking with a track record of originating and closing debt and equity transactions across current pipelines.
  • Established book of business with transferable client relationships and an active network of sponsors, developers, and institutional or private capital sources.
  • Deep connectivity with capital providers and borrowers spanning banks, private lenders, equity funds, family offices, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
  • Strong ability to independently source, structure, negotiate, and close transactions across diverse CRE asset classes and capital structures.
  • Experience with international capital raising and building global investor networks is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in capital markets strategy, transaction structuring, and client advisory.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, underwriting, and market analysis.
  • State real estate sales associate or broker’s license (preferred).
  • High motivation to work on an entrepreneurial platform with a compensation structure that includes a draw, commission, and overrides.
Compensation

Competitive performance‑driven compensation consisting of a draw, commission splits, overrides, profit participation or equity incentives, and a draw up to $200 k per year.
