• 7 years of not-for-profit tax experience
• Experience with 1065, 1120, 1120S, and state filings

A mid-sized Midtown CPA firm with a heavy specialization in not-for-profit clients is seeking a Tax Director. This is a partnership track opportunity.

• Direct all aspects of the firm’s not-for-profit tax practice
• Review 990s, 990PF, 990-T, and 5500 forms, as well as applicable state filings
• Review Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, and state filings for a growing for-profit client base
• Review 5500 forms
• Make presentations to clients
• Perform tax research

• CPA or JD
• Management experience in a CPA firm
• 7+ years of experience
• Compliance experience with non-profit organizations
• Hands-on experience with review and preparation of Form 990, Form 990-PF, and state charitable registrations
• Experience with Forms 1065, 1120, 1120S, and state filings
• Knowledge of unrelated business tax, private inurement/benefit, and other tax-exempt/non-profit organization issues (preferred)
