Principal / Senior Associate – Client Engagement Manager
Validus Risk Management invites applicants to join as a Principal / Senior Associate in Client Engagement Management. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to existing clients and identifying growth opportunities across product lines within the BDCC structure.
Responsibilities- Deliver the highest quality service to existing clients.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional Validus teams – Global Capital Markets, Technology, Operations – to execute agreed services.
- Track and deliver ongoing reporting and periodic reviews with clients.
- Respond to and resolve client issues.
- Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to other product lines (e.g., Fund Finance Advisory, Operations, Horizon Tech suite).
- Attend client, industry and networking events to drive business development for new and existing clients.
- Travel may be required.
- Preferred experience in FX / IR markets; experience in investment banking, fund finance and alternative investment funds is also considered.
- Knowledge of alternative investment funds.
- Strong ability to build relationships with senior decision makers.
- Excellent organizational and client coverage skills ensuring top service level.
- Strong time management and ability to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Exceptional written and verbal presentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong numerical skills and analytical mindset.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Plus: CFA or CAIA certification; existing network across private capital managers.
Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 per year, determined individually based on experience and market location. The total compensation package includes competitive salary, bonus, health care, retirement plans, and financial support toward professional qualifications.
