Must have the ability to manage time wisely working with high volume, follow up diligently, and regularly communicate status of projects.
Our ideal candidate will provide support to the FHA Asset Management team as well as carry out individual responsibilities while working on new initiatives.
- Support Asset Management in collection, tracking, saving down and spreading project financials, including operating statement, balance sheet, bank statements, rent rolls, AP/AR aging schedules, etc.
- Carry out financial analyses to evaluate project performance and discuss any substantial variances and non-compliance.
- Maintain financial performance and occupancy in servicing system.
- Manage & distribute collateral performance and Watch reporting.
- Support Asset Management in preparation of required HUD forms for advances from reserves held by Lender for repairs, capital improvements, debt service & other.
- Work with asset management and technology staff to integrate processes among different systems and automate portfolio management.
- Carry out ad hoc projects, as requested.
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or Economics with a strong GPA.
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple transactions and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel - financial modeling and risk analysis.
- Prior experience with multi‑family real estate is a plus.
