The company is seeking a Strategic Finance Manager who will play a meaningful role in driving a data-driven approach to our long-term business strategy and ensure execution of those goals
.

Own Cedar’s annual corporate planning, financial model & forecasting, and capital allocation and assist with the evaluation of growth opportunities and pricing strategy.

Be a point of contact for our Board and management team on insights related to Cedar’s performance.

Be highly strategic, analytical, and data-focused to keep a pulse on our near-term performance and help Cedar execute its long-term strategic vision.

Communicate and work with various teams within the organization, our investors, and the board.

Education Level
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
Work Experience
  • 4-6 years of experience preferably in investment banking
    , high-growth corporate finance, private equity, or venture capital.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing materials for the executive team, including board decks, investor materials, and other executive updates.
  • Collaborate on ad hoc analysis that drives business decisions across sales, product, capital allocation, expansions, and pricing.
  • Design monthly and quarterly financial reports (variance analysis, forecast) and dashboards with impactful insights and critical metrics for Cedar’s leadership.
  • Develop new pricing models for our products where market dynamics, competitive landscape, internal development costs, and ongoing variable costs, are assessed to determine optimal pricing.
  • Help drive equity and debt fundraising processes from end to end.
  • Implement systems and processes to scale planning and reporting across teams.
  • Improve predictability/forecasting capabilities of financials and business metrics
  • Oversee the deal approval process by providing support, coordination, and decision tracking for all deal approvals, ensuring an efficient and effective deal closure process.
  • Understand and communicate financial results and trends to teams, and recommend appropriate courses of action when results vary from forecast.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
  • Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and developing modeling skills and advanced querying.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Net Suite) and financial planning software.
  • Outstanding financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Passionate about Cedar’s mission of improving the healthcare finance experience.
  • Positive attitude with a desire to work across multiple teams and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to utilize data to determine decisions.
