Citi is a global bank that provides financial services including safeguarding assets, lending money, making payments, and accessing the capital markets.

The bank is searching for a Lead Finance Officer (FX) who will be responsible for providing management with analysis and insight into financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team.

This role reports to the Rates & Currencies Lead Finance Officer.

• Bachelor’s Degree
  /University Degree
• Master’s Degree (preferred)

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience, and experience in financial services
• Demonstrated financial modeling skills with the ability to drive top-down strategic and operational plan

• Assist in setting and managing the balance sheet and capital consumption targets, annual budget, quarterly outlooks and forecasts, industry trends, and the CCAR process to drive the long-term performance of the franchise.
• Develop relevant, key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness and performance of the business and client strategy
• Drive analysis for use with Citi senior management as well as external analysts, regulators, and investors. Deliverables include but are not limited to, performance analyses, target setting, and forward-looking analytics for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate decision-making to drive performance and strategy of the FX business
• In partnership with the FP&A and the wider Finance teams, lead various projects to enhance the efficiency of Citi’s financial processes and increase the informative value of the content provided to senior management
• Lead ad-hoc analytics on themes that arise at senior management’s request or through proactive research of potential issues across the entire spectrum of business strategy and performance
• Lead the financial analysis for all actuals and planning dimensions such as Earnings, Outlooks, Forecasts, Annual Plan
• Manage all financial aspects across the FX business within Global Markets. Define financial objectives anchored on sound financial criteria, drive strategy and execution in close partnership with the business and functional areas globally.
• Partner with various global functional (i.e. Product Control, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, etc.) and business stakeholders to deepen LFO’s analysis and manage various processes around actuals and forward-looking financials
• Responsible for developing senior-level talent to advance the pipeline of Finance leaders across the Citi franchise
• Support the Rates & Currencies LFO, Markets CFO, business head(s), and other senior management with commercial insight and analyses regarding financial results, projections, and strategy
• Understand and proactively mitigate the impact of new regulations or accounting requirements on profitability and business strategy
