Team OverviewThe Pricing function is a strategic enterprise capability responsible for maximizing customer value, revenue growth, profitability, and commercial effectiveness across IPC's portfolio of trading communications, connectivity, and cloud-based services. The team works closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance, Customer Success, Legal, and Operations to establish pricing strategies, governance, monetization frameworks, and value-capture initiatives that support IPC's growth objectives.
As IPC continues to scale its recurring revenue and subscription-based offerings, the Pricing organization serves as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping guide pricing decisions through data, customer insights, market intelligence, and financial analysis.
Role Overview :The Director, Pricing & Analytics leads the analytics and financial modeling that inform IPC’s pricing strategy and value-capture initiatives. This role identifies revenue and margin opportunities, establishes pricing performance metrics and executive reporting, and advances data quality, automation and pricing technology capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain pricing analytics, revenue leakage measurement methodologies, and value realization reporting.
- Build financial models to evaluate pricing opportunities, discount strategies, renewal uplifts and margin impacts.
- Analyze customer, product, transaction, consumption, and financial data to identify pricing opportunities.
- Establish performance baselines, KPIs, attribution methodologies, and tracking mechanisms for pricing initiatives.
- Develop account-level targeting analytics and prioritization models to maximize value capture.
- Produce executive dashboards, forecasting models, and management reporting.
- Support pricing governance through data-driven recommendations and exception analysis.
- Lead efforts to improve data quality, reporting automation, and pricing technology capabilities.
- Increase revenue and margin realization by identifying pricing opportunities, discount improvements, renewal uplifts and sources of revenue leakage.
- Enable better commercial decisions through robust financial models, customer and product analytics, and clear assessments of pricing and profitability impacts.
- Create reliable performance visibility by establishing pricing baselines, KPIs, attribution methods, forecasts and executive dashboards.
- Strengthen pricing governance with data-driven recommendations, account-level targeting and clear analysis of pricing exceptions.
- Build scalable pricing capabilities by improving data quality, automating reporting and advancing the tools and technology used to measure and capture value.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pricing analytics, revenue operations, FP&A, strategy, business analytics, or commercial finance.
