Overview
Citi's Early is designed to identify and develop future talent through mentorship, training, professional development, and career exploration opportunities.
This exclusive three-week virtual experience provides undergraduate sophomores with the opportunity to learn more about Citi, strengthen their professional skills, build meaningful connections, and explore career opportunities across the firm.

The Early is designed for undergraduate sophomores interested in exploring careers within financial services and learning more about opportunities at Citi.
As part of the application process, students will select a business track aligned with their interests. For Fall 2026, students may apply to opportunities within either the Banking track or the Markets track.
Throughout the program, participants will engage with Citi professionals, participate in virtual programming, and receive guidance designed to support their professional growth and preparation for future recruiting opportunities.
About This OpportunityAs part of Citi's Early , you are applying for a specific opportunity within the Corporate Banking track located in New York.
Corporate Bankers are relationship-focused finance professionals responsible for understanding the wide range of complex financial issues facing our clients around the world. As a Corporate Banker; you will drive the client dialogue on capital structure; liability management; liquidity and funding strategies; risk management; and investment solutions. Unique to Citi, Corporate Bankers are also responsible for deciding where to invest the firm's capital and executing on those investments.
Corporate Bankers work in partnership with various Citi groups across the firm including Risk Management, Investment Banking Coverage, ECM, and DCM.
While participants engage in a shared Early that includes mentorship, training, and professional development, each opportunity provides unique exposure aligned to the business area and location for which you are applying.
Eligibility QualificationsWe want to hear from you if:
- You are currently a sophomore enrolled in a four-year bachelor's degree program from an accredited institution.
- This program is open to all students. We encourage applications from students who are motivated, curious, and interested in exploring careers within financial services.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above is preferred.
