Investment Banking Associate; Secondaries

A leading global investment bank is looking to hire an Associate into its growing Secondaries team in New York. The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex secondary transactions, working closely with private equity sponsors, institutional investors and senior deal professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute GP-led and LP-led secondary transactions, including continuation vehicles, tender offers and portfolio sales.
• Build financial models and conduct valuation and transaction analysis across private market assets.
• Prepare client materials, transaction documentation and investment analyses.
• Coordinate due diligence and manage deal processes from initial evaluation through closing.
• Work directly with senior bankers, sponsors and institutional investors across live transactions.

Candidate Profile

• 2–5 years of experience in investment banking, secondaries, private equity or a related transaction-focused role.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Experience working on private equity or private capital transactions preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple live processes.
• Genuine interest in private markets and the rapidly growing secondaries market.
