Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting an Onboarding Specialist to join our Capital Partners Family Office Client Services team. In this role, you will assist with the client onboarding process for Consolidated Reporting Services. You will work directly with Relationship Management, Family Office Services, Client Onboarding, and external investment advisors to successfully onboard clients who have engaged BBH for consolidated reporting services.

You will partner with senior members of the team and the relevant business stakeholders to develop accurate client ownership structures and manage communications with external investment advisors to ensure proper authentication and access to clients’ third-party investment information. You will also be responsible for communicating onboarding status and escalating issues or concerns as needed. To be successful, you will need strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate is determined to solve problems, skilled at coordinating internal teams, and enjoys working directly with relationship teams.

Key responsibilities include:

• Work directly with the front office teams on client onboarding
• Liaison with internal teams, External custodians and external Fund Managers
• Serve as a primary point of contact for client onboarding issue escalation
• Working with internal groups to integrate systems and workflows
• Identifying trends and recommending process improvements to increase efficiency
• Collaborate with various teams across the organization to resolve client issues

• Overseeing and tracking multiple concurrent client onboardings

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree with 0-2 years of relevant work experience
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including customizing charts and graphs, conducting multi-sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, and using advanced formulas
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to identify, elevate, and resolve problems and issues
• Avid learner willing to develop subject matter expertise in new software
• Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure
• Proactive, goal-oriented self-starter
• Strong work ethic, with the ability to prioritize effectively and adapt within a fast-paced business environment
• Foundational knowledge of private investments, including private equity, venture capital, and private real estate, with the ability to track and report on these assets

This role is based in our New York City location and is a hybrid role, with a minimum of three days per week in office.

Salary Range $60k-$75k base salary + annual bonus target BBH and its affiliates' compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing.
