Vice President - Treasury Settlements

A leading financial services organization is seeking a senior operations professional to oversee settlement activities supporting U.S. Treasury and secured financing businesses. This role will manage teams responsible for critical post-trade processing, cash movements, collateral activity, and intraday settlement risk across Client and tri-party infrastructure.

• Provide senior leadership for teams handling U.S. Treasury, repo, and secured financing settlement activity.

• Establish scalable operating models and processes to support continued growth in Treasury and financing volumes.

• Manage team performance, hiring, development, and succession planning across the function.

• Oversee the full settlement process for Treasury transactions, including delivery, receipt, cash settlement, and exception management.

• Manage repo settlement activity, including opening and closing transactions, collateral movements, substitutions, and related processing.

• Coordinate with Treasury, Liquidity, and other internal partners on intraday cash and funding requirements.

• Monitor settlement activity and resolve fails, breaks, and time-sensitive exceptions to minimize financial and operational exposure.

• Maintain strong controls around high-value settlement flows, liquidity usage, and operational risk.

• Ensure processes remain aligned with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards, including U.S. Treasury clearing and TMPG guidelines.

• Serve as a senior point of contact for internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and remediation initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to improve controls, automation, workflow efficiency, and overall settlement infrastructure.

• 8+ years of experience within Capital Markets Operations, Securities Operations, or a related function.

• Strong background in U.S. Treasury settlements and repo/secured financing operations

• Hands-on knowledge of Fedwire Securities, Fedwire Funds, and/or tri-party repo infrastructure

• Experience managing large teams, team leads, or multiple operational functions.
