Prudential Bank Regulatory Associate

Overview

• Advise banks, bank holding companies, their affiliates, investors, and counter parties on prudential bank regulatory matters under U.S. federal and state banking laws.
• Advise banks, fintechs, and other financial services companies on regulatory applications, chartering, and licensing initiatives.
• Counsel U.S. and non-U.S. banks, bank holding companies, and their affiliates on prudential regulatory requirements, including capital and liquidity, governance, and risk management.
• Address bank regulatory issues arising under specific acts, including the Bank Holding Company Act, National Bank Act, Federal Deposit Insurance Act, International Banking Act, Change in Bank Control Act, Community Reinvestment Act, and the Volcker Rule.
• Advise on investments, activities, mergers and acquisitions, affiliate transactions (Regulation W), fiduciary activities (Part
  9), broker exceptions for banks (Regulation R), insider transactions (Regulation O), non-U.S. bank activities and international operations of U.S. banks (Regulation K), and control/non-control determinations (Regulation Y).
• Counsel clients in responding to regulatory examinations, supervisory findings, and enforcement matters before the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC, and state banking agencies.
• Candidates should possess a basic understanding of the prudential bank regulatory framework and supervisory process, with a strong interest in developing expertise in these areas.
