Credit Product Specialist | Hedge Fund

A leading credit hedge fund is seeking a Product Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will work closely with portfolio managers, investment professionals and investor relations to support the positioning, communication and ongoing development of the firm’s credit strategies.

The role will focus on translating complex investment strategies and portfolio performance into clear, compelling messaging for institutional investors and consultants. It offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with 4–10 years of relevant experience to develop their expertise within a high-performing investment platform.

• Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s credit strategies, investment processes, portfolio positioning and performance drivers.
• Produce and maintain investor-facing materials, including presentations, factsheets, investment commentaries and due diligence documentation.
• Work closely with portfolio managers and investment teams to communicate investment views, market developments and portfolio performance.
• Support fundraising initiatives by preparing tailored materials for prospective investors, consultants and existing clients.
• Respond to investor enquiries and contribute to RFPs, DDQs and other due diligence requests.
• Analyse portfolio performance and risk exposures to deliver insightful investment commentary.
• Support product development initiatives, including the launch of new strategies, funds and investment vehicles.
• Monitor competitor strategies and market developments to support product positioning.
• Ensure all investor communications are accurate, consistent and aligned with the firm’s investment philosophy.

• 4–10 years of relevant experience in product specialist, product strategy, investment specialist or investor relations roles within asset management or hedge funds.
• Strong understanding of credit markets and credit investment strategies, ideally within a hedge fund environment.
• Experience producing investment materials and communicating complex investment concepts to institutional investors.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and portfolio positioning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships with investment professionals and commercial stakeholders.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced investment environment.
