Risk Manager/Analyst, Corporate Finance, Financial Analyst, Credit Analyst
- We’re looking to add a Senior Lead, Market Risk as an integral part of the Enterprise Risk Management team, providing oversight and analytical review of Pagaya’s investment vehicles, counter parties, and overall market risks
- Assess performance of Pagaya’s financing vehicles (e.g., securitizations and forward flow arrangements), conducting attribution analyses, ongoing monitoring, and independent valuations
- Conduct market analyses and peer benchmarking, understanding broader credit industry trends as well as those of our lending partners
- Provide second line oversight of liquidity, funding, and risk retention decisions, as well as related performance triggers and covenants
- Liaise across Portfolio Management, Research, and Finance teams to understand and mitigate relevant risks
- Evaluate the financial viability, creditworthiness, and operational health of third parties (e.g., lending partners, servicers, and other counter parties)
- Support coordination of inbound and outbound due diligence requests across lending partners
- Maintain, develop, and prepare executive-level reporting on the above items through various ongoing forums and committees
Demonstrated experience in Credit Risk, Asset-Backed Securities, and Counter party Risk management, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to persuasively communicate complex issues and outstanding attention to detailCFA, FRM, MBA and/or other advanced credentials are a plus Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and related Google suite tools, with ability to work with various data sources and tools. High degree of comfort preparing executive-level materials is a must Undergraduate degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in a consumer finance/lending institution
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a complex and dynamic environment
Ability to independently analyze problems and formulate recommendations/conclusions
Familiarity with Intex and dv01 is a plus
