ROLE SUMMARY

The Swap Clear and Listed Rates Business Management team supports the strategic and commercial decision-making of one of the world’s leading clearing businesses. Working with senior leadership, the team evaluates performance and opportunities, translating complex analysis into clear decisions and business outcomes! This broad role spans commercial strategy, market structure, financial performance and governance of a global CCP, providing a US-focused lens.

You will develop business cases, analyze customers and competitors, prepare senior management and board materials, and support decisions on investment, growth and pricing. We are looking for an ambitious, intellectually curious individual with credible financial markets experience who combines analytical rigor, commercial judgment and the ability to turn recommendations into action.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Build business cases and commercial recommendations for investment, growth, pricing and strategic change.
  • Develop revenue models and scenarios covering pricing, volumes, customer adoption, costs and delivery.
  • Analyze market structure, customer behavior, competitors and industry developments affecting Swap Clear’s strategy and market position.
  • Own analysis and reporting on business performance, market developments and financial outlook, partnering with Finance on revenue, costs, budgets and strategic planning.
  • Produce board and senior management materials that translate complex evidence into clear choices and recommendations.
  • Help move priority initiatives into execution by building support and coordinating across Product, Risk, Operations, Technology, Finance and Commercial teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Financial markets experience:
Meaningful professional experience in capital markets, derivatives, financial‑market infrastructure or a closely related environment, with an understanding of how market participants, products and infrastructure interact.
  • Commercial analysis:
Demonstrated experience developing revenue models, scenarios, investment cases or pricing analyses and using the results to make a commercial recommendation.
  • Strategic problem-solving:
Evidence of structuring an ambiguous business problem, evaluating competing options and recommending a clear course of action.
  • Senior‑level communication:
Experience producing strategy presentations, investment proposals, board papers or equivalent materials for senior decision‑makers.
  • Stakeholder influence:
Demonstrated ability to secure support and progress initiatives across multiple functions without relying on direct authority.
  • Technical capability:
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, including the ability to explain key assumptions, sensitivities and commercial implications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in clearing, fixed income, rates, derivatives or listed markets.
  • Experience in strategy consulting, corporate or product strategy, financial‑market infrastructure, or a markets‑focused COO or business‑management function.
  • Experience supporting pricing, investment, planning or governance decisions.
  • Familiarity with the commercial and regulatory environment affecting clearing businesses.
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

You will gain broad exposure to the leadership and governance of a global financial‑market infrastructure business, working on commercial decisions and strategic initiatives with senior stakeholders across the organization.
