We are looking for an experienced professional to join our CMG FIG Fin Tech team as a Vice President within the Investment Banking Division. In this role, you will lead transaction execution, strengthen client relationships and deliver strategic advice across a broad range of complex financial matters.

You will serve as a senior member of deal teams and a primary day-to-day contact for clients, while providing leadership, guidance and development to Analysts and Associates.

The Fin Tech Investment Banking group provides clients with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products, including M&A advisory, debt and equity financing, structured finance, risk management and hedging, and co-investing.

• Develop and strengthen relationships with Fin Tech clients, serving as a primary day-to-day contact and strategic advisor
• Lead the execution of complex transactions from origination through closing, including M&A, private placements, and debt and equity issuances
• Translate detailed financial, valuation and industry analyses into clear strategic recommendations tailored to client objectives
• Oversee the development of financial models, customized valuation analyses, transaction materials and client presentations
• Advise clients on industry trends, strategic alternatives, financing considerations and transaction structures
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams of bankers, attorneys, tax advisors and other internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee due diligence processes and contribute actively to the negotiation of transaction documentation
• Manage deal teams and workflows to ensure high-quality execution and timely delivery
• Mentor, train and develop Analysts and Associates while fostering a collaborative team environment
• Contribute to client coverage, business development and the continued growth of the Fin Tech franchise

• Minimum 4+ years of investment banking experience with a Master’s degree, or 7+ years of investment banking or equivalent experience with a Bachelor’s degree
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
• Demonstrated experience executing complex transactions and managing multiple work streams
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with clients, senior stakeholders and deal teams
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing and developing junior professionals
• Sound judgment, attention to detail and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members across multiple groups and regions
• Previous Fin Tech, Technology or Software sector experience preferred
