New York This is an opportunity to become a key member of a world-class investment banking practice focused on companies in the healthcare industry.  The successful candidate will provide support to the Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team to execute a wide array of equity and equity-linked financings, including initial public offerings, follow-ons, structured deals and convertible debt transactions.

* Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

* · Execute transactions as an Associate on the ECM team
· Interact directly with current and prospective clients
· Work closely with broader investment banking team to coordinate all aspects of existing client management, new business origination and deal execution
** Experience and Qualifications

Required:

*
* · Three or more years of relevant experience in investment banking
· BS or BA with an exemplary academic record
· Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
· Outstanding written and oral communication skills
· Capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, meritocratic, team-oriented work environment
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
