Job Description Managing Director, Head of Finance Overview The Managing Director, Head of Finance will lead strategic financial initiatives and oversee the finance function development.

Provide boutique, white-glove service while building institutional-caliber finance capabilities for the client organization.

Develop and implement processes, technology, and deliverables to support strategic financial priorities.

Lead transaction structuring, diligence, negotiation, and post-close integration efforts.

Oversee financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity planning, and scenario analysis.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting across entities and service lines.

Introduce AI into finance workflows while maintaining quality, auditability, and confidentiality.

Build and manage a high-performing finance team to deliver exceptional client service.

Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to ensure compliance and alignment with firm priorities.

Managing Director, Head of Finance

Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA certification required.
20+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in finance functions.

Experience in family office settings and professional services environments.

Proven track record in building and scaling finance organizations and operating models.

Expertise in financial reporting, cost allocation, and technology implementation.

Exceptional discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.

Preferred: MBA or advanced degree, and experience with non-profit accounting.
