• Lead on policy efforts at Isometric across the Americas (with a particular focus on USA, Canada and Brazil).

• Read detailed policy documents (regulations, consultations, etc) and use that deep understanding to develop our policy objectives.

• Drive forward Isometric’s engagement with the Government, NGOs and industry to achieve those policy objectives.

• Support Isometric’s commercial aims by engaging with priority buyers and suppliers on policy topics.

• Apply for and help maintain approvals from relevant accreditation bodies and regulators.

• Experience as a policymaker in government, or directly influencing government policy from the outside.

• Proven ability both to go deep on policy detail as well as influencing government officials through advocacy.

• Ideally: background in climate policy. If not, then at a minimum policy background in an adjacent area (e.g. environmental protection, trade policy, financial regulation).

• You want a fully remote job. We value in-person collaboration and spend regular time together in the office.

• You prefer staying within your area of expertise and operating in structured environments. We navigate ambiguity at extreme pace and everyone is a generalist.

• You’re looking for a short term gig. We’re building for the long term and looking for people ready to grow with us for 5-10 years.
