Jurisdictional Partnerships, Associate – 12 month contract
Join Bloomberg’s Climate Data Steering Committee (CDSC) as a Jurisdictional Partnerships Associate and help expand climate risk data coverage through strategic collaboration with governments and regulatory authorities. This full‑time, 12‑month contract in New York offers an hourly rate of $58.00–$73.00 and the chance to work at the intersection of policy, data and multilateral engagement.

What’s the role?We are looking for a Associate, Jurisdictional Partnerships to support the strategy and partnerships team in forming strategic partnerships with key jurisdictions for the NZDPU. The role involves engaging with governments, regulators, and international organizations, coordinating with the CDSC Secretariat and the NZDPU teams.
We’ll Trust You To- Support efforts to form jurisdictional partnerships, from initial conversations to development of Memoranda of Understanding.
- Track developments in mandatory climate disclosure frameworks and provide insights for jurisdictional engagement strategy.
- Conduct research and in-depth analysis of emerging climate disclosure regulations, especially those aligned with ISSB standards.
- Prepare materials to support engagement with jurisdictions, including meeting briefings and presentations.
- Draft agreement documents, including Memoranda of Understanding.
- Coordinate with technical teams on data disclosure and metadata requirements for successful data ingestion.
- Prepare communication materials such as FAQs and public announcements related to partnerships.
- Manage timelines, deliverables, and tracking of actions for partnership‑related work streams.
- Collaborate across internal policy and technical teams for coordinated delivery.
- 3 years of professional experience spanning public and private sectors, ideally within or alongside government institutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in public policy, international relations, environmental studies, economics or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Understanding of or interest in the global climate data and disclosure landscape.
- Familiarity with data governance and climate‑related data platforms.
- Excellent organizational and project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong analytical, research, and written/oral communication skills.
- Effective presentation skills and the ability to tailor content to different stakeholders.
- A high standard of excellence and a critical eye for detail.
- Experience working with or within governmental bodies on climate data initiatives.
- Experience with the mandatory international climate disclosure landscape, standard setters, or financial regulatory processes.
- Comfort working at the intersection of data, policy, and multilateral engagement.

Compensation & Benefits: Hourly base pay of $58.00–$73.00.
