The New York State Police are seeking a Communications Specialist 1 (State Police) trainee to provide twenty-four hour communications support for sworn and non-sworn personnel. The role starts as Trainee 1 (State Police), SG-8, advancing to Trainee 2 and eventually SG-12 upon successful completion of required certifications.
Responsibilities include monitoring various communications equipment, receiving and classifying reports via radio, CAD, and phone, and maintaining logs.
