Junior Stylist

Hair Bar NYC is a growing luxury salon company specializing in professional keratin treatments, hair color, extensions, and services that support healthy, beautiful hair. With multiple locations across New York and Florida, we combine technical expertise with thoughtful, personalized guest care.

We're looking for a motivated Junior Stylist who is ready to learn, contribute, and grow with our team. Whether you're newly licensed or have some salon experience, this is an opportunity to develop your craft through hands-on experience, in-house education, and guidance from experienced stylists.

• Assist senior stylists while developing your technical skills and confidence.
• Perform blowouts, styling, color applications, and treatments appropriate to your experience and training.
• Learn Hair Bar NYC's signature keratin treatments, exclusive product line, and service standards.
• Conduct thoughtful consultations, seeking guidance from senior team members when needed.
• Help guests feel welcomed, comfortable, and informed throughout their visit.
• Recommend products, treatments, and service upgrades that meet each guest's hair needs.
• Maintain accurate client records, formulas, and service notes.
• Keep workstations, tools, and shared spaces clean, organized, and ready for service.
• Participate in ongoing training and apply feedback to improve your work.
• Support front desk operations as needed.

• Active NYC cosmetology license.
• Newly licensed stylists are welcome; previous salon experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Keratin experience is helpful, but training is provided.
