Commission Based Hair Stylist at Village of Rhinebeck Salon
Job Description A beautiful styling station is available for the right hairstylist looking for a new salon to call home.
Stylists ideally can begin right away, grow their business, operate with maximum flexibility, and contribute to a vibrant and loving community. The salon has been in the Village of Rhinebeck for 12 years, has lasting long-term client relationships, and is growing quickly at a consistent pace. We need stylists who have been working behind the chair for at least 5+ years and who are passionate and ambitious artists.
Additional responsibilities include handling the phone and placing small product orders. You're welcome to bring your clientele with you. This is commission based.

Requirements- NYS Cosmetology License
- 5+ years active behind the chair / working in a salon on customers
- Management skills
- Customer service skills
- 3 professional references
- Some flexible weekend availability
- Pleasant and professional
- Reliable and timely
- Coloring, cutting, and styling
- Arriving early for appointments
- General product knowledge
- Regular cleaning, tidying, and sweeping
- Replying to calls/texts
- Making appointments
