We are seeking a part‑time Scheduling Assistant within our Skilled Nursing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating and filling schedules/shifts for our Nursing, CNA and Caregiver staff. This is a fast‑paced role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Responsibilities- Support the Nursing Office Coordinator with employee schedules, arranging coverage for schedule shifts, communicating with on‑call staff, and documenting rapidly changing information.
- Coordinate, communicate and document resident and care provider appointments on‑site (i.e., physician visits).
- Support and provide coverage to the Nursing Office Coordinator and to the Director of Nursing when needed.
- Communicate clearly, effectively and positively in all interactions with staff, residents and visitors.
This is a part‑time position of approximately 15 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Weekend rotation every three weeks is required with the hours of 9:30 am – 2:30 pm. Hours may be flexible; onsite presence is required.
