Position Vacancy: Social Worker (part-time position)

Description

• Responsible for interfacing with the New York City Department of Homeless Services Staff, Shelter providers and relevant community based organizations to enhance and ensure families are in receipt of optimal care and service coordination.
• Will work to develop and to facilitate appropriate linkages for families to community based services.
• Must be able to work from a multi-disciplinary team approach to service provision.
• Expected to provide qualitative and quantitative feedback to Department of Homeless Services (DHS) and Siena House to inform both policy and practice.
• Perform additional Social Service related services required by DHS and Siena House Administrators.

Experience And Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work with LMSW
• Excellent English Language Skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) desirable

Reports to: Social Worker Supervisor and Program Director

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Flexible Scheduling: 16-24 hours per week
