The Department of Anatomy at New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM), Old Westbury campus, invites applications for a three-year Postdoctoral Teaching and Research Fellow position.

The Anatomy Department includes nine full‑time faculty with active research programs in paleontology, evolution, development, functional morphology, biomechanics, and neurosensory anatomy. The successful applicant will have access to the department’s Visualization Center equipped with a micro‑CT scanner and CT‑processing software; a fresh‑tissue laboratory for histology and staining; an embryology laboratory for in‑vivo experiments; a microscopy facility with confocal microscopes; both human and animal gait labs for collecting kinematic, kinetic, energetic, and EMG data;

The successful applicant will participate annually in teaching human gross anatomy to osteopathic medical students alongside the department’s nine full‑time faculty. They will engage in independent research and/or collaborative research with the department’s faculty.
QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. Prior experience with clinically‑oriented human anatomy is desirable but is not required.

Maximum Salary: USD $66,000.00 Yr.
