- Varying shifts: 6am–2:30pm, 7am–3:30pm, 8:30am–5pm, or 1:30pm–10pm
TOPTAL CARE Inc is offering an 8-week travel contract for Phlebotomists at a leading clinical site in Saranac Lake, NY. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with strong technical skills and a passion for patient-centered lab care. Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are accepted at a reduced rate.
Key Responsibilities- Perform prompt, accurate, and reliable phlebotomy procedures in a safe manner with minimal trauma to patients
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood and body fluids, for clinical testing
- Ensure compliance with departmental safety standards and utilize all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Deliver outstanding customer service to patients and clinical teams
- Assist with clerical and client service functions in the Laboratory
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow laboratory protocols
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in phlebotomy
- High School Diploma or GED
- Science background and proven experience in clinical phlebotomy
- Excellent manual dexterity and patient service skills
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work variable shifts in a dynamic clinical setting
- Compliance with rigorous safety standards and PPE usage
