Description
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform and document advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including NT, detailed fetal anatomy, fetal echocardiography, growth studies, Doppler evaluations, and biophysical profiles.
- Collaborate closely with MFM physicians, genetic counselors, nurses, and other sonographers to provide comprehensive perinatal care.
- Accurately capture and label images following AIUM standards and internal protocols.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of fetal development, pathology, and sonographic manifestations of maternal and fetal conditions.
- Communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician in a clear and professional manner.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy at all times during procedures.
- Properly clean and maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education to stay current in the field.
- Adhere to all regulatory, infection control, and safety standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
commensurate with experience (Pay Range $32.00 - $58.00 hourly)

Requirements EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification Fetal Medicine Foundation preferred.
- ARDMS Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification a plus.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasound, preferably in a Maternal‑Fetal Medicine setting.
- Proficiency with advanced ultrasound equipment (e.g., GE Voluson) and EPIC/PACS systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for interaction with patients and clinical staff.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing clinical priorities and schedules.
