CT Technologist, Full Time 9p-7a Tuesday-Friday-25% Shift Differential Pay

Base pay range: $34.00/hr - $40.00/hr

25% Night Shift Differential (between 11p and 7a)

10% Weekend Shift Differential

$30,000 Sign on Bonus

The CT Technologist is responsible for scanning patients, assisting other departments throughout the organization learning about CT, cross‑training staff members from within Medical Imaging, and promoting CT services of Oswego Health.

• Follow departmental protocols and administer contrast material
• Explain procedures and answer patient questions or concerns
• Operate CT and X‑ray equipment by setting controls and making necessary adjustments to obtain required images
• Resolve problems that arise during patient examinations
• Position patients for CT and X‑ray exams according to standard procedures
• Practice radiation safety for both patients and coworkers
• Perform QA and other job‑related duties such as cleaning and restocking the area

• Follow all office policies, procedures, HIPAA, ACR, and NYS DOH requirements
• Demonstrate knowledge of radiology operating systems such as PACS, EMR, RIS
• Report any equipment malfunction and notify the appropriate person
• Perform other duties as required

• Associate’s Degree in Medical Radiography or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• NYS License and Registration (ARRT) required or eligible
• Certificate of Contrast Injections or eligible
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required

• Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending
• Position requires attendance as scheduled to ensure requirements are met
• Complies with DOH requirements for annual health assessments and required immunizations
