MOCSA (Metropolitan Organization Countering Sexual Assault)
Hospital Advocates provide crisis intervention, emotional support, information and resources to survivors during the forensic exam process. Volunteers have flexible scheduling options and staff support. As a Hospital Advocate, your presence can make a significant impact on the journey to healing.
This is an on-call position. MOCSA covers six counties - Johnson, Wyandotte, Platte, Clay, Jackson and Cass. Volunteers can choose which state works best for them, or respond across both states.
Requirements:
Background Check, Fingerprint Registration, 40 Hour Training, Must be 18+
