Overview

Maimonides Medical Center currently seeks Physical Therapists for weekends and weekday evenings.

* Opportunities for continuing education, student supervision and program development available. Schedule is somewhat flexible.

Responsibilities

Working in the inpatient setting, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for providing, mostly evaluation and some intervention, services to a variety of patient populations – orthopedics, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiology, oncology, vascular, in addition to patients on the general medicine and intensive care units. You will also play an instrumental role in discharge planning.

Qualifications

We require:

• NYS licensed Physical Therapists or eligible
• BS/MS/Doctorate degree from an accredited institution in Physical Therapy
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Physical Therapist in Medical setting
• Experience preferred with orthopedic, vestibular, pediatric, lymphedema or neuro
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills, ability to work independently

Pay Range

USD $63.00 - USD $63.00 /Hr.
